THE CHALLENGE
The Client organiSation, a Global manufacturer in aerospace and marine sectors wanted to outsource their 2nd/3rd generation FM globally and were concerned that value could not be secured from the current contracts.
The Client had a very lean property and facilities services organization and needed a genuine service partner(s) that could manage internal BRM processes and deliver a robust infrastructure maintenance solution.
THE SOLUTION
PACS were commissioned to manage the entire strategic sourcing process, including developing the strategy, assessing the case for change, managing the project governance, directly running the sourcing process and leading the contract negotiations.
The sourcing strategy allowed competition at a country level across 5 global regions and two service partners were selected to retain competition and mitigate risk of change.
On-going data/performance management were key to managing the client's risk, so PACS are working with the client to integrated operational data from the chosen providers into our IWMS to provide real time KPI reporting with full drill down into underlying workflow data.
THE BENEFITS
The new service contracts transferred significant risk to the suppliers and the IWMS has enhanced the performance management framework under which they operated.
The chosen outsourced solution delivered a 18% reduction in the total acquisition cost.
